That is f-ing awesome!!!

So you've turned the 2.0 into a 2.5, or have you used a 2.5 engine? Not up on my ford lumps.

Those trumpets give me my own horn. That car looks brilliant. Thats going to bloody fly that thing.

Jamsport owned or customer owned? Would love to see some videos of this when it goes on track!!!

What kinda prices are we looking at for a 2.5 conversion in one of those?

Weight of the car? Is it stripped or fully interiored? If stripped, it must be just about a tonne? Dribble....

Updates when you get them please.

this car is owned by a very good customer of ours, and due to alot of developemtn going into it he lets us use it a fair bit.

as for the engine, it is originally a 2ltr duratech, but there is an american 2.3 duratech we get that fits straigth in. then we carry out our 2.5 conversion on the 2.3 block, using new crank rods and pistons.

this is still standard inside, trying to get the customer to strip and cage it

YEah i know of the 2.3 engine from the states. I remember some people bringing over a 2.2 version when most people were tuning their 1.6 RST (and the 2.0 EFi conversions). Few RS lads had the 2.2 which gave a huge leap in torque over the 2.0.

Awesome, keep us updated. Proper projects like this are always good to read on.

Doesn't the 1.9 conversion use the original 1.6 engine?

Nahh, im thinking of the actual 2.0 16v EFi engines, had a plastic inlet manifold went back over the center of the engine. Also the other conversion, errrr, also a 2.0, i can't believe its gone from my head, not the duratech lumps, the previous gen engines. THey are NA engines, but many people turbo them..

*searches my pic DB*

One of these lumps... AS i say, not up on my ford engines...

IS this one of the 1.9 conversions you mentioned?

the red one is SOY, which was a ZETEC turbo

the blue one is a CVH head, so could be a 1.9 tall block, or a ZVH
