cad plate or if it cant be removed theres a product called presto black which is kind of a stained coating which could be done in situ

I think he means galvanise it.
Kurust is to turn rust back into metal, corsaxe wants to prevent it.
Could you not get some carrier bags or something and wrap it up? Keep it indoors?
