Just got in my car and noticed this, never noticed before... on the drivers door of a 3 door corsa b (1999 1.6 sport)
The central brackety hinge thing god knows what specific name is, looks like its come loose/bent on one side and rust behind it a bit... passengers side is fine upon checking. thought i was doing well with this car with no rust lol..
pics:

and passengers side for comparison.

should i be worried? is it an easy fix (how much basically lol)
cheers

Thats the check strap btw Dave
Fooking weird how its rusted there, unless sometime in its life someone has banged the door backwards and caused that welded hinge to break.

Yeah very odd to be fair mate lol but yeah the car is rust free (bar couple of bubbled paint bits which is expected with age) and then theres that bit! shocked me! lol.. spose its a simple weld job but quite odd, must have been like it for a while.
