hi,
i think my one of my piston rings has gone because i am burning a lot of oil, so instead of repairing it, im thinking about swapping for a reconned c16xe, what would i need to swap the engines. i.e loom,ecu etc.

then all you swap is the engine, nothing else

brilliant, dont need a new transponder or anything.

is it easy to swap an engine, im a novice. but dont want to be paying labour charges..?

the c16xe doesn't have any immboliser, only the later x16xe's do

its not easy, but its not hard, really depends if you have the right equipment or not?
