Anyone know whats wrong with my car? It starts fine buts really bogged down for first 2 mins of driving, like i can only tap it in first, to get anymore speed i have to go into second then third etc. Putting my foot down would result in my car sounding like its in a very low rev range and no power, the car actually slows down. Im stumped need some help anyone?
EM light is not on
Everythings standard
There is a small amount of gunk around oil cap. (hoping its not HeadGasket!)
Also the cars lost alot of power overall, its only a 1.0 GLS (b) but it lost an very noticable lot of power.

gunk around the oil cap and running like plop would suggest head gasket really

damm, how much on average wud one of these be to replace? from a garage of course.

not too sure really think around 400 is the average. is it losing any water.

head gaskets ent that bad at all , they are easy to do,and it will save u hundreds, when u can buy the gasket for £9 from partco bolts are about £12 and a head skim is around £35 if u dont have a recept and pay cash

really? thats gd to know! Can you link me to a website that explains how to do it? on a corsa would be gd! I got couple of mates who know cars pretty well. How long would it take roughly?
