Just left a deposit on an X-Reg Astra 1.7 LS TD 5 door
54k, been a mobility car all its life, just cries out old man when you look at it at the moment, even has and raf sticker in back window proper old manish, really clean.
£2999 and its giving it a ful service, MOT tomorrow, 6 months tax, 3 month warrenty, and changin the cambelt it it needs doing 
wel chuffed, so picking it up either wed/thurs
5 door is really growing on me too, got sum simply little mods i want to do to it to stamp my mark on it too cant wait wel chuffed, Back to home from home - Vauxhall

i like astra mk 4's but should have got a 3 door look loads better

they dont do the diesels in 3 door, or if they do i havent found one yet!
and 5 door is fine, i like to be different iv got this car for gettin to work, not just for looks

Lad down my road has one with irmscher rear lights and wheels, and it already looks really smart.

he actually mentions doing some little mod's to it in his first post, if he didnt mention it i wouldn't have said anything about 'mod's'

i may get sum wheels an lower it slightly but its been bought as colin said to withstand my 60mile a day round trip to work.
its gettin fully serviced and mot'd so anytin liek clutch wil show up, felt solid when i drove it.
does 50-60 mpg
ps. forgot to mention its the izuzu engine too

For reliability you cant knock the Isuzu engines...but I would sooner have the more refined common rail diesels they knock out today...as there reliable and a lot more refined...

yea i did, originally after seein it i was gonna hagger for £300 off but once i went inside and spoke to him and he offered to do mot, service, warrenty and tax i cudnt really haggle its by far the cheapest iv seem and by far the lowest mileged one iv seen, so im made up
