Cant seem to find any software anywhere, although i have been told its avalible.

I can only seem to find free trials and these will only convert a maximum of five minuites of video. Was actually going to purchase one but they dont accept my debit card anyway

I use a combination of DVD Decrypter and AutoGK

But i encode the video in XviD rather then MP4

Great quality though

mainly want to get dvds onto my ipod so i think they need to be mp4

To Rip DVD's you can use DVDShrink - legally free to download, very simple to use and will make backup's to .iso file

Look into getting some software called clone DVD. This will rip DVD's to mp4 with one click of a button.

i used to use it for ripping DVD's to watch on my Tv but the quality was shite. It'll be fine on the screen of a video iPod though.

Bittorrent is your friend on this one

Cheers lads i think i have it sorted now


I used DVD decryptor as suggested to get the dvd onto the hard drive and then managed to find a free ware ipod video converter to change the mpeg files to mp4
