I have looked at the tutorial thread, but I'm not sure what colour wire does what.

I have my motor and switch from a Vectra, and the colour wires I have are:

Motor:
Black
Black with Blue trace
Black with white trace
Red with yellow trace
Red
Brown

Switch:
Brown
black with blue trace
Black with white trace

The black/blue and black/white go from the switch to the motor, and the red off the motor is obviously the live cable, but what about the rest? Is the brown off both the earth? what about the red with yellow trace and the black?

Any help will be much appreciated!
