TBH, I think I might have to acquire a new engine soon, without the faggoty mechanical fuel injection as it's pissing me off already

2.0 16v and some decent management I think.

Fitted new leads and air filter today and it's still misfiring.

Jamsport are looking at it Monday hopefully (?) to attempt to cure it.

Grille should be here some time next week, along with a few other bits (brand new plain golf ball gear knob, red stripe dash insert, airbox and fuel metering unit, haynes manual, brand new GTI badge for the front grille) then I can order a new OMP exhaust to stop the blow, coilovers (KW?), 3 VDO gauges and some G60 steels or some P-slots for winter.

Then I need to pay Argos and Orange

Pictures will be supplied throughout.

I'd imagine they're not easy to get hold of, no

16vs are plentiful, but not as cool.

Won't be for a while yet anyway.

Wouldnt have thought G60s are that rare and expensive. A mate of mine has just fully rebuilt one and is in the process of sticking it in his mk1. And all he does is work at halfords.

Rabbit sounds cooler than Golf

I'll give HIC a ring when my renewal is due, IF I've still got the car.

Tonight, I'm pissed off with it as I washed it earlier and it now has loads of smear marks Sell sell sell

Misfire is still there

It's a fucking nightmare to drive too, it dies with a tiny bit too much throttle.

Should be sorted by the chaps at Jamsport on Tuesday though.
