if i was to buy an x16xe engine to replace my c16xe, could i put the head of the c16xe and inlet ect onto the x16xe so i dont have the egr and still have the standard 109bhp.

You can put the C16XE head on a X16XE, yes. I've done it.

bottom end is knockin, just thought of the idea as finding a decent c16xe engine is like finding a needle in a haystack if u get me
