Why will only work on the x16xe and not the x14xe?

you can use them on c16, it's just like the mantzel, x16xe and x14xe have oval inlets where the c16 is different, it's rectified by getting an x16xe or x14x3 inlet manifold

no point at all, 16xe's are quite restrictive in standard form (alot in the inlet) , the only thing worth doing to the c14se (if you meant to mpi sri motor?!) is put carbs on.

c16 lower inlet actually fits inside the upper inlet section, whereas the x16 ones mate up with a gasket in between

It will work on an x14xe too,

and to anwer another question, the inlet on the 8v SRi is ok anyway, the 16v ones are utter crap

Lesson over kiddies

Carbs can be had for about 100 on ebay etc, then the manifold 100-150, you'll need a manual dizzy setup then a rolling road session, good idea to service the carbs, theres filters and linkages too

I wouldn't run a cam either, or if I did i'd only run a tame one. I've got most of what you're talking about on mine (apart from the 4 branch and decat) ok so I haven't really although i've got a spare engine supposedly with a fast road cam in I might sell all that stuff if u r interested (full stainless magnex, superchip, spare engine with cam in) also got a little ram air induction kit
