When getting a cd player what do i need to look for in specs so it can be hooked up to a sound system ie amps. is it rca line output??? or is it preouts?

normlly pre outs and as many as you can get depending hw many amps you intend to run, the higher thw wattage is better mines is 4 x 55w you can get higher, then just general what you want ie blue tooth, mp3, ipod conection etc.
