Iv timed up my corsa and run the engine and it is fine however, when i turn the engine off the timing belt tension is lost slightly is this normal or is the timing belt suppose to keep a constant tension?, dont wana run it 2 much until i know so any help would be appreciated

this is normal.

Tension should be checked at tdc.
