does anyone know where i can get a tb blacking plate from? i had one with my inlet, but it seems that the prat at the garage has chucked it away . It looks like thsi:



also does anyone have a picture of the egr on a X14XE engine and where abouts it is?

Go to B&Q and buy the metal, then go to Vauxhall and buy the gasket.

can you buy the gaskets? i've just emailed the company i bought the inlet from, so need to see if they would send me a new one. Sick of sh*t garages at the min!

Yea, of course you can buy new gaskets!

Go to Vauxhall or a Motorfactors or something.

All they are are throttle body gaskets.

wasn't sure if there was a gasket on the tb holder as standard. I'll wait for a reply off the company if not i'll try andrew pages

You could even use gasket seal on it if you wanted to. It's called liquid gasket or something.

thats my one, all i did was draw around the bracket, and use tin snip cutters to cut around it
