With the Nova still being fooked it got towed for it's VIC check - and passed! (Hope you like it!)

Thought the Nova looked quite......well i duno, out of place on the trailer so took some quick pics!

Arrived at the safe garages round the corner from the house to find this dusty mobile that's been sat for about a month with nothing working...




so i gave it a clean and a quick polish and slung it on the trailer as i had time...



half hour later arrive at wetherby to get the vic check done








20 minutes later..........it's passed!!!!!! Woohooo

unfortunatly the camera ran out of battery so i couldnt take any pics of it on the trailor while moving or any random pics......

but also as probably none of you have seen me nova before - i though it would be a good chance to see what you lot think??????

VOSA AND DVLA had messed up.

it was declared SORN for a while and the last owner crashed it in a category B accident or sumit while on temporary insurance or something - i havnt been told much

so they dont do the VIC check till the next owner gets it........me!
sent me V5 off and it never came back! rang them and they didnt know what was going on etc so after me spending some time and money on the car - i get a VOSA thing come through instead of me bloody V5 - not happy tbh.

guess its just to check it wasnt chopped in two and stuck on another one haha

so does that mean it was damaged and you repaired it? im loving the grille, is it a genuine irmscher thing or has it been custom made? rest of the car looks lovely to

it was damaged and the previous owner repaired it, and i've done some extra work to it as the bonnet didnt totally shut properly etc.

the grille is a genuine irmscher - pretty damn rare could get 250 for it i reckon


haha glad you lot like it and shock horror....



(the colour is a rover colour but just polished a lot with darker polish shades)
