whats the best to use as when i download torrents currently, i seem to get really slow speeds like 2 k/s, ive got 2meg broadband so what is casuing this as it will take 27 days to download a 700meg file cheers

Is it all files or just one particular?

Could just been the seed is really slow...

its all files from lots of different seeds, did a test ony my comp said i was getiing 4mg BB so dont understand it, if i used P2P or just downloading from the interent i can get speeds of averaging around 250k/s

you need to forward the ports. google it. what program are you using ?

have been using bit comment i think will have a look at forwarding ports now

if your router supports upnp, bitcommet will configure the ports for you, if not you need to do it yourself

also your ISP may be doing traffic shaping, so filtering the bandwidth on torrents - if thats the case, enable the transfer encryption option.

well rouetrs a netgear DG834G so dont know about the first bit! how do i enable the transfer encription? cheers paul
