Recently, my corsa has sometimes idled really low, as in 600rpm. It usually sits at around 1k. It seems to be quite lumpy when its low on the revs too.
Sometimes its an utter bastard to start, and ill have to sit with my foot on the accelerator a bit to make it start and idle.
Thats just the engine troubles.
Shaun took it out for a run about 2 weeks ago, and ever since there has been no brakes at all really, only once you have your foot on the floor. Theres a rattling/knocking sound on the front passenger side when you brake too, any ideas?

re:brakes - on my corsa brake fluid leaked into the rear cylinders causing no pressure at all and no brakes, not sure about knocking though (have the discs been off and then not put back on properly  ?)

if the brakes are rattling it could be the anti rattle spring thats bent out of shape and the idle could be down to the cts or icv.Clean them up and see what happens.
