Pics of the garden today, decided I am going to lift the grass and re-turf it as it is a pain, too many divets and bare patches..Adn i have broke 2 edge trimmers in last week

Got to do the bit under swing aswell, dunno what with though?

at the moment, gets the sun all afternoon and night

That grass doesnt look too bad...a good few weels TLC on that and it will come good...just get some compost...some seeds...lots of watering...and maybe get a roller to level it off...

Cant see why you would want to dig that up...

Try leveling it with topsoil first. Just spread some on the low spots. Plenty of water and aerate it when the grass grows through it. Easier and cheaper than returfing.

Looks alright as it is! Although i'm not keen with the fences being so low.. people next door can see everything

yeah the 2 side fences are 3ft which i am going to change for 6ft, but on the side not in pics there is trees right along so it is private.
other side not seen in above pics

HUGE garden for that sized house I agree with the top soil idea, will be less hassle.

might be hiring a mini digger to flatten off and take the top off so we can re turf it...

Think I willtry and top soil and seed my grass instead of lifting as suggested in here
