a friend of mine has an uncle in a btcc racing team.
AND - has been able to get a deal on higher model bucket seats. Most makes, for 250 quid a pair which is like half the price.
wanting some really lightweight buckets, around 5kg or so if they exist.
ideas?

well im not too informed on bucket seats as i've never really had the money/though it any good to put them in the car - but now with the nova i hink it's safer and more sensible (spesh as im going to take t on trackdays)
can you tell me of any good lightweight bucket seats - good quality and make? as i can get them cheap
main point is to be lightweight

look on Demon Tweeks website, motorsport section....
they give details on weight etc.
If you are serious about trackdays...
You want a carbon shelled, fixed back with extra neck/head support and 5 point harness compatability
If you arent that serious.... some general GRP fixed backs with 5pt holes...
