its a saxo vtr and has developed a knock on the front off side sounds like the bottom ball joint but are there any common faults with the suspension on theese?

my vts used to clunk all the time whilst turning for parking. Theres isues with droplinks but also the rack itself can make a clunk as pressure shifts(citroen specialist reckoned so anyhow). Check out saxosportsclub.co.uk

its only when driving forward and going over bumps.dosent do it when parking.seems to get worse when braking.i recon it could be the drop links as you said and when braking its puttng extra pressure on them making them worse

mine does this exact same thing mate, its quite common and enoying, i was told could be drop links or the bushes on the front wishbone or something like that, does yours do it when just driving around normally every time you go over a bit of a bump in the road, mine sounds like its coming from the front left!

yeh it does most of the time even over small bumps.but it seems to do it more and get louder when braking

havnt noticed it doing it more when braking it might be right though actually, let me know what it is if you get it sorted mate, im skint at the mo lol
