ive got a few mods on my engine, full branch manifold, cat back exhaust system, performance inlet with enlarged throttle body and an induction kit. basically im abit lost when it comes 2 ecu's so was just wanted to no if i had an ecu re-map would the ecu pick up all the mods and icrease my horses?

the ECU doesnt just 'pick up' mods.
Youre best bet would fitting some cams, then an aftermarket inlet then getting a remap with a UNICHIP piggy back ECU.
This is mapped on a rolling road to adjust your fueling to suit your mods.
EDIT - you have an inlet already 
just pop cams (264's) and rod bolts in

aint relly got the £££s to get it cammed, mayb in the future tho. wat would u suggest 4 me 2 do?

As far as I know, remaps aren't cheap either.

budget around 500 for a decent remap
dont bother with an off the shelf solution

Live mapping can be done quite cheap.

Regal quote 10 bhp for £250.
Courtenay quote £295 for remap. Doesn't quote power.
It obviously chnges with mods.Regls 10 bhp is on an standard x16xe.
