Binary clock

It can either work in a sort of cheat mode where each digit has its own column, so only goes up to 9

or proper binary mode

by the time its taken for me to work out what time the clock says it will be to late and i'd already be late for work

its good if you know binary and can tell the time by looking at it

bottom diagram i understand if its 10:48:36, you just add up the lights, ie the hours row is 8+2
minutes row you add 32+16...
and seconds 32+4

That comment shows ignorance. What about people who think logically and have the ability to translate a binary string in to decimal within seconds.

All it is practice. I can imagine this would help keep your brain in tune.

Just because you wouldn’t be able to work it out, doesn’t mean to say others couldn’t.

There are 10

Its binary 10. One-zero

Column headings are 2^1 and 2^0, or 2 and 1.

Therefore there are 1x2 + 0x1 types of people, therefore there are 2 types of people.

Those who understand binary and those who dont.

I have the clock but I lost the power supply in a house move. You could help me out actually and tell me what voltage, amperage and polarity yours is as it looks the same.
