When on full lock (either direction) and moving slowly i get a little "knocking" noise.

Had a look underneath, inner cv is new anyhow - otters are fine - ball joints look ok and track rod ends seem ok - suspension seems fine. Drive shafts are ok.

Only thing im thinking it could be would be the steering rack perhaps?

Any other thoughts?

does it do it with the wheels off the ground when you spin them by hand?

Suspension is nice and tight. checked that.

Did you check the ball joints for movement with the car on it's wheels?

Both on the floor and in the air.
Seem good to me.
