right last week i took my car to my mate to have my ported and polished head fitted and enlarged throttle body and my numan cams, i know with the cams in and not set up it would run lumpy, but now i got it back today and runs like a bag of s**t.... i have had a play about with the throttle body but cant get it to idle right and when i can i rev it and it either sticks to what it went to or drops down to 400/500rpm.....also as the throttle body has a different connection on it same as the c16xe i bought a new cable and this seems double the size of my standard cable from my x16xe....... does anybody have any ideas???

Did you buy a new TB? sure its for the right car?

i bought it from leo off here who had it on his gsi, who i also got the head off so it was working fine on his car, i also have a unichip which needs fitting so if i have this fitted will it maybe sort the problem

i cleaned out the enlarged TB today and fitted again was ok for a bit then started to play up again, so i took the sensors of my old TB and put them on the new one, same again was fine but then when started to rev the rev didnt come back down just stayed in the same place??
