Ive removed it because it hadn't been working for about 9months.
a few questions - there is a long vacuum pipe and have blocked the end with a screw, can i not just jam a screw into the plug/bit it connects to, by the battery as i currently have it floating around the bay.
secondly, do i have to block any of the holes off from the thing attatched to the exhaust manifold? I had the car running and it seems to be ok but i want to double check
thirdly, can i chop off the plug that was once plugged into the pump. This is another thing which is hanging around the bay and WILL begin to annoy me
thanks for any help

yes u can put a screw in the section near battery to blank vacuum hose rather than havin the pipe floatin about.
if ur leavin the valve attached to the exhaust manifold then no u don't need to blank anything off there, other option is make a blankin plate for it or buy new manifold (janspeed) that doesn't use it.
as for wiring plug, tie it up and tape up
