i have a remus back box recently fitted and before it was fitted my exhaust used to bang on the axle quite comman i have found well it hasnt done it for about a month and has started doing it again it apears that the tail of the pipe now sits pissed against the bumper and i can move it from side to side about 1 and a half inches how many mounts should there be and is this easy to rectify any help would be accepted

all you need to do is loosen the u-clamp holding the pipe push the whole pipe up from under the car.turn the box and get a mate to tell you when the tailpipe sits the way it should then retighten the clamp but make sure the bolts are over the top of the pipe (u-clamp upside down basically).
there should be two rubber mounts at the rear box.

is this the u clamp thats in the centre you are talking about

should be one were the centre section meets the backbox,thats the one you need to loosen

cheers for your advice mate ive had a look and there wasnt actually a clamp there my mates put one on for me now and it has rectified the problem the new back box was fitted by elite in essex i thought they might have spotted something like that
