I dont understand summat wrong,
I think engine problems are common in 1.0 12vs im not sure i think it cud be a sensor or summat.
But my eml keeps coming on, i cant even do above 60 on motorway without struggleing.
It just comes on wen u accelarate now and again, the exhaust splutters like thers not enough air pressure or sumamt. :S :S
Ive herd is could be the air mass meter but im not 100% confident that a new part could fix this, as it feels like the engine is just giving up.
Any ideas

take it somewhere to hook it up to check the sensors out

paperclip test will tell you which sensor is producing low or high voltage.
Could be the AFM

the paperclip test doesnt work on the 12v it will need to be hooked up to a diagnosics machine

needs plugging in to a diagnostic machine mate. you could end up changing lots of parts with no joy thru assumption.
