Standard X30XE (quoted at 207bhp, but most seem to make more, probably 230 on average), plus Jenvey ITBs, standard heads, standard manifolds, stainless exhaust....

what power should be expected?

I was just looking at Jenveys site tbh, it caught my eye and I wondered.

I was thinking it'd be more than 250... Standard MV6s make 240, even though the book figure is 207

£3k is a lot for 10bhp

V6's don't rev. They are fat arse lazy engines built for torque.

Who needs revs?

It's all about the power delivery, not the high end power

I reckon the power may stay quite low, but the torque delivery would be massive... Move it quite low too. Perhaps with a steel bottom end you could get it to rev to 8k and get loads of power

How short would the trumpets need to be to fit under a corsa B bonnet, is it possible without knocking the bonnet out with a hammer!?

The ones in that silver Nova pic must go, but I reckon you'd have trouble with pulse tuning trying to use the bonnet as a pulse plate
