when a red car shines it look the bollocks tbh, i would defo keep it red as most cars these days are either silver or black

as for the project...wow! fair play for what you are doin as its a huge task fitting an engine that no one make fitting kits for etc

as for all the irmy stuff, it will look very factory and not in your face. but will still have a nice style...

cant wait to see the finished item mate as its goin to be very special as you have probilly gathered from the ammout of posts

good luck dude

well i managed to get some Irish progress done in the past few weeks

i'll start off by showing a picture of the driver's side mount for whomever it was that wanted to see it. *deleted most PM's.*

And now im going to attempt to explain myself. (read on all will become clear)
The other week when i was bored i give the shed alittle clean up and took off all the wheels so i can work on the front rear of the car while waiting for different parts to come. The car orginially belonged to a farmer wifey, i was sick as a cunt when i took off the rear wheels

i then decided i would just brush of the muck for when i wanted to fit the rear beam. also so conviently at the time we decided to fit the rear beam and go fetch the rear suspension and brakes as then the arse end was done.

old stuff:

new stuff:

on there lowest setting just so we know there the same hieght tbh, i'll change it to suit once finished

Not so simple, we forgot our tool to put the pads in the rear calipers...not good, so that was then left the way it was.

After about 15 mintues taking and stuff 'the R man' notice the the clutch cylinder pipe was bent to buggery and there's a high chance it was bust inside the box, now you know what was cumming next dont you "BACK OUT WITH THE ENGINE!!!!" for the fucking 3rd time now lol. we decided since we had it fitted where it as gonna sit anyway we build the other 2 mount's, at least that way there all doen for when it goes back in correct?.

he's some pics of the rear mount made and front one being sorted out (front is now welded and sprayed up)

Now that we had all 4 mount's in place it was time to take the engine back out, this is now a piece of piss job as dropping the subframe was only a few bolts cause the hubs/suspension etc is also off. we then just hooked it up and took it out the bottom (as appposed to the top previously). we the cracked the box off and replaced the pipe, it was a biggish job just for one pipe but i think i'll feel better knowing it been done.

this is the pips with the new end on sticking out of the box = not good

now some pictures of it out and being taking apart then put right

new bits fitted

differance in pipe's *note: there are tow kind's at different lenghts, but both should be the same shape*

sarah *the girlfriend* think's i look awfull in my overalls..... awfull but warm maybe lol

and here's some quick pictures of other little addition's i've been picking up aloing the way...hope you like

ok so that's all for now, but there will be some good progress over the next week as the shaft's are now built back up after being slpit when my dumb ass took them out and my new machined hubs are here thanks to 'the R man'

i'll make another post for you soon enough

cheers all
