Getting some new rubber for my sxi rims, they currently have 185/55 15s on, but im dropping it by 60mm, the wheels are et49 so thats ok but does the profile of the tyre make a lot of difference?? Can get sum more of the same tyres new for £125 off my mate, but lower profiles say 185/45 are guna be more expensive. Will it be ok to lower it 60mm with 185/55s??? Dont wana go and spend that much on new tyres and find out that theyre guna rub
Cheers

Havnt got a clue how stiff they are as havnt got them yet, am getting them off M303CGO - i think them digits are right. Will ask the guy how much 45s would be in comparison to 55s might have to just pay the extra to be on the safe side. Thanks for answering mate

If you're getting new tyres put 195/55's on. That's what is on mine!
