As i'm only 16 my 1.2 P reg corsa doesn't get started daily, obviously..

But when it does get started it doesn't start well.. if i just turn the key, it'll wanna start but just stalls/gives up..

But if i keep my foot on the gas its start, but sound like a tractor starting up!

Then when its idling, it's high.. i'm takin a guess because its warming up

But then when it gets driven, and you plant your foot to the floor, it splutters and doesn't rev very well.. once its warmed up its fine, and can do whatever and starts fine..

Its started to bug me now..

Anyone got any ideas?

My old corsa did that mate... Just being sat there i expect.. They alright when they get going

I've drilled my air-box if thats any use to anyone.. my dad reckons its 'sucking in too much air'

No mate it isnt sucking in too much air!!!!Youll find its because the car is sat for periods of time without being started so the plugs,leads and ancillaries become damp causing the "rough" starting.Best thing is to turn it over daily or spray damp start around the plugs and leads and the dizzy if it has one.
