Tesco RON99 fuel is supposed to be the best for the Astra VXR according to Thorney Motorsport, I just don't like the thought of buying petrol from Tesco, so I fill er up with V-Power.

I run my car on at least 98 RON all the time (as it was mapped on 98). When I put Tesco 99 in it feels really sluggish, put V-Power in and it feels crisp.

VXR as standard was mapped on 98RON fuel, thats why it goes better when correct fuel is inserted.

True and I work for a supermarkeet so I should be loyal, however my dad worked in the oil industry for 25 years (and my mum currently runs a petrol station for jet) so I do know better Supermarket fuel catagoricly does not have the same adatives as you would get from most good petrol station.

Ah, but people on here have had trouble with other ('decent') petrol vendors, so it's not only supermarket petrol which can fuck your car up...
