I'll probably only run V-Power on the XE. I use Co-op fuel, because it's supplied by Total.

On an unrelated note, I have stopped using Tesco fuel (only did it once) because it makes the car smell eggy :lol;

The lad speaks sence. BP, Shell etc all put additives in there fuel. Tesco and Asda do not bother

I'm finding my fual consumption much better with tesco fuel at the moment though cheapskate

anyone with problems from tesco fuel in se england might want to read on...

my dad filled his car up with tesco diesel and soon afterwards it started getting flatspots, they've been getting worse to the point where below 2krpm the car is VERY slow, pulling out at roundabouts and junctions isnt much fun.
he went back to the tesco station and told them about it, and that the pump was also very slow that day on filling the car up. he was told that tesco bought a load of fuel from russia and the fuel contained alot of pebbles and stones. (they bought the fuel by weight so were ripped off)

the car is in the garage today so we shall find out if it is actually the fuel or not shortly

I've filled up with Tesco 99 bad boys before and I never noticed any ill effects. How many times have people repeatedly filled up with this fuel to pass judgement?

Tesco, Morrisons, and anotherone have been affected

the problem is they haven't put the addivtives in the fuels

the smaller CC cars will be affected more

use branded fuel for the moment - ie shell/bp

had loads in at work - code is p0130 02 sensor malfuction

is killing 02 sensors, and could be worse if left - over heating, fuking cats up etc

I've used tesco petrol in my car with no trouble, I used tesco 99 RON in my old Corsa and had no issues either.
