according to my maths the corsa would need to be running 140bhp to match the power to weight of a std 106 gti

then again with my Feather Weight GSi pushing a poor 112 BHP could keep up with my other half's old GTi untill she got to around about 80 in 5th.
the only thing that the GTi has is a fooking great big kick at 4K which is when it leaves most others behind, basically accoding to Parkers the Corsa sport 1.6 16v runs 104BHP the GTi runs 120bhp, so theres the answer to match a Stock GTi you'll need to add 16BHP of Engine mods! lol

uhhh have you fogotten weight in all this

it will need to be running around 150bhp to be a similar power to weight

im going to shock you but a 106 gti is heavier than a corsa
