bit of and up date

MOT'd and taxed it today and it passed, no suprises there seen as i tested it lol

anyway been putting a few miles on it seems ok. got bit of and oil leak from the gearbox which neededs sorting, management light is on but on my scanner coolant temp is 192 deg and air temp is 190 deg so either a wiring fault or fucked sensors but in all an easy fix.

exhaust sound very nice and im very happy with it. made it up from 2.5 inch tube and a center and back box.

all in all im quite a happy man :-)

2.5 is surely to small tom, corbs runs a 2.75" exhaust which looses him power

right after shafting the bottom end at brunters the engine was taken out to inspect the damage and the bigends were well and truly goners

bottom end is now rebuild, had the block, pistons, rod and crank acid dipped and they now look clean as fook

all it needed was the big end replacing in the end pistons are only 12k old after a rebore so left them. jst painting the block at the minute so pics will be up shortly. ive got all next week off to get the engine back together and back in so things should be ok, i hope

got up fairly early to get started

dragged the engine out my shed on the stand ready do go in

was a right twat trying to shove the engine under the car on my own whilst the car was jacked up. didnt help me dropping the flywheel on my finger and cruching it. ring gear dug into my finger quite well only lost a bit of blood but made it hard to hold thing tho

soon got it bolted in tho

god board after that plus my finger hurts like fuck so i called it a day untill tomorrow any way
