£2k aint bad at all when you think a. it includes the gear and b. the hours spent on it.
And if a bulb goes then the boxes can easily be removed, however part of the service is replacing all the bulbs with led bulbs so that the chance of them blowing is a lot slimmer.

looks good, i just question how good the gear is, company i know put 2 new R12's powered by a new PDX apperently 1000wrms amp and it sounded absolutely shit. Does look good though. And yes £2k aint bad for that tbh.

cupra steve consider this
The PDX's are revolutionary amplifiers, 1000w RMS into an amp the size of an A5 bit of paper! Unlike every other amp out there, these PDX have no heatsink and no need for cooling.
They are a totally new design compared to every amplifier design in the past. So this is alpines first crack at something great.
because the PDX amplifier design and technology is so new you cant slate it because it doesnt sound as good as the other monoblocks on the market because they have been around for ages and have had decades to perfect their internals to give really good quality.
Alpine are at the 1st stage of creating the future of car amplifiers. In 10 or 15 years or so time huge amplifiers in your boot will be a thing of the past.
oh and by the way :
I have heard the 4 channel of this running JL XR 3way components and it sounds amazing so im my opinion they have perfected it already

Hi,
I am the chap who done this install.
The system comprises of:
Alpine type S 12" woofers x2
Alpine MRD-M650 monoblock
Alpine MRP-F250 4c amp
Alpine SPE-17CS 6" components
Dynamat
Stinger 4 AWG cable
Stinger speaker & RCA cables
And Lastly
Alpine IVA-D100R cd/dvd/tuner flipout screen.
The job took 1 man 80hrs (1 long long week) to do.
The total bill was just short of 2k, This is defo under priced, it should have been more like 3k.
A deal and a half was had by this lucky owner.
The 4c amp was bridged each side to power the front components only.
