yer paint job is very good but we did a deal on job as we are nebours.

more progress today fitted new sump and gasket new pollen filter and refited skuttle pannle oo and also heated it up to bring it back to colour.

i am hoping a month to be on the safe side got fit me grovved discs with pads and refurb wheels refit rear wiper motor and refit front wipers 'painted tonight' mot tax insureace lol

right things i have done

cleaned out rear drums and painted them black and re greesed bearings.

new sump and gasket.

fitted rear wheels. 'gona refurb them when thye car is on the road.

fitted post 97 gear nob.

fitted clear side repeaters.

fitted strut brace.


pics will follow when i can get hold of another camara to take some pics.

still got an oil leak and found it its the crank seal in gearbox so box is comeing out saterday new seal and clutch etc.

managed to get a clutch for £25 + VAT

bargain eh

update:

gearbox was takin out saterday and new clutch etc was fitted along with the crank seal and yes it was that that was leaking no pics on that though didnt have time just wanted it done.

right well after i treated my car to a new oil flush it has started pissin oil out of the rear main crank seal 'gear box end' which i have already replaced about 3 weeks ago along with every other seal gasket you can think of. so my asumption is the rings are gone and putting to much pressure in the block so some thinker oil or some oil leak treatment might be in order until i source a 1.6 8v block and gearbox to recon depening how the compresstion test goes on tommorw plus striped a black dash and other panels and bits today so gona get all that in when i have a spare full day pics to follow.
