I catch the bus at the moment mate, it's a nightmare from where I live. So it will just be a pain again once I pass my test.

It sounds fine plodding along, when you want to put the foot down rasps then fades... if the flex joint fails to calm it im for another type of manifold.. pish

It is going to look proper nice when it is finished mate, when I get mine done, hopefully most of it by PVS we will have to have all three of our cars, next to each other.

Did you re-paint your wheels while the car was painted RCoughtrie?
mine have got loads of speckles of black in them which i cant get off now, only had them done less than 5 month.

nah man never got the wheels done again... might get them re powder coated in the summer just to make them new again, doesnt need it tbh. One thing is for sure tho i will be buying winter wheels this year will see if i can get my hands on some softstars

I get black lumps of tar but the wheel foam gets it off nps

yeah i think that winter weather has taken its course on mine, gunna try and use some rubbing compound on them, mine were sprayed, not powercoated, whats the finish like when they have been powder coated? is it shiny, like gloss white? iv always thought that powder coating them gives it a different texture and finish that spraying, thats whats put me off powder coating them

The reason i went for powdercoating was the durability, shine white when cleaned but not like a high mirror shine and havent faded yet...

The finish is smooth on mines but at a guess i think spraying would be more crisp due to the laquer coats

What put me of spraying was seeing a set of a mates flake and chip in places, prob due to a shite job

must have been a crappy job, mine are perfect, i spent ages prepping them though but the paint has been scratched abit whilst taking the centre caps off, think im gunna get them powder coated next, looks like a top job on yours. mine have been laquered and they look more or less the same finish on the pics.
