As some of you will have seen i bought an R reg Combo for £247 off E Bay. Needs some work but still a bit of a bargain. Especially as some people are asking near £1000 and over for them.
The challenge i have set myself is to do the whole thing up on a limited budget by only using parts sourced through E Bay, and then have it done by the Summer in time for the shows.
I already have the front Bumper and spoiler £62
M3 Mirrors for a Fiver.
Roof Pod for £40 as mine is totally rotten!
Plus some bits and pieces that i have already from previous cars.
Wish me luck!

The pics probably make it look better than it is. The bumper is smashed to F***! and the roof pod is rotten. Half an Exhaust left on it. And now the alternator has packed up.

As for the Mirrors, well they look good on that Purple one.
The Steinmetz ones i had on my Calibra looked awesome.

Thanks for the offer, but i won some 1 month old ones for £5.50.
As said before this is all going to be done on a limited budget. That is the intention anyway!

Got nearly all the bits i need. Just need to find a Bonnet and decide what to do about the Exhaust. I have been trying to find a new roof pod without much success so i took a risk on a painted white one that happened to be not far down the road from me.I also picked up a clock from the same combo and a few other pieces

. I have cut off all the bracing and rust off of it and am going to try and make 1 pod out of 2! They are both rusty in the opposite places. Mine is good all around the seal but the other is completely rotten around there. Mine is rotten in the middle but the other one is not. This will require some skillful use of Mr Grindy!
