Ok,
Let me start by saying that Im a noob.
Now, I've just had my little but perfectly formed SRi kitted out with a new Pioneer head unit, vehicale dynamics, speakers etc and it looks and sounds like the dogs bolloxs.
I'm now ready to move onto the engine but before i do anything I wanted some advice on what mods you guys recommend.
Specifically id like to get more grunt ie. quicker acceleration and I'd like to be able to top out the speed at more than 220km/h (135miles/h).
So hit me up with your best recommended mods.
Thanks
The Weecher.

If its a 1.4 8 valve sri then there aint too much power you can get out of them without spending alot of money. If its a 1.4 16valve then best bet would be a 4-2-1 Manifold and full decat exhaust system. Then breathing mods would help such as a dblias/mantzel/lexmaul inlet.
If your after useable power in the midrange then the lexmaul is the best bet as the mantzels and dblias tend to have their power nearer the top of the rev range. The inlets usually cost around £350 second hand.
Personally I would stick a 1.6 gsi/sport lump in, its a straight swap and they come with over 100bhp as standard.
