Much better.

I didn't have such problems with my grill that I fitted yesterday. Did you loosen off the 2 bumper screws holding it to the slam panel. This gives you a bit more access to get your hand behind the grill and push the clips forward.

got bored recently n after having a look through the tutorials decided to attempt to semi-smooth a tailgate...obviously i didnt attempt it on my own boot so bought one out of the scrappies...tada

cost only £30 and that was complete with all mechanisms and tailgate surround...but stripped them out anyways...

started off by sanding down to bare metal using various grades of aluminium oxide sandpaper...n then had some fun with fibreglass n mesh - took a bit of time but seems to be solid...

forgot to take pics after i fillered n sanded the wiper hole but seems good, nice n smooth to the metal...also made a start on fibreglassin the large tailgate surround recess which seemed a lot easier than the wiper hole for some reason...anyways, layed it on quite thick so took me ages to sand down...

chopped the crap out the edges of the recess to make sure the fillers grabbin onto a rough surface...n then layed on a nice thick coat of filler...

thats as far as i have got so far n will update with more pics at each stage...

how u think its goin?
