thanks for the link Dave, interesting read that.
I'm of the same opinion of some of the folks on there. I like to have a gamerscore because it get's me playing games that little bit more just to get that achievement. I would not however 'cheat' to boost my gamerscore.

for me, as you can tell with my 600 points  , i don't really care about gamerscore etc. but, if i get bored or complete a game i will then see if im good enough to unlock the achievements. which is why i have now start r6:v on realistic to see if i can do it plus 100 gamer points.
cheating to get em is sad imo

exactly, i used to swap a agme in on the PS2 when i finished it, now i keep them until i have the majority of the achievements done.
Yea i didnt read all of it, i read that someone mentioned MS where clamping down on it, not sure if anythings been done yet though.

as long as you know your gamerscore hasn't been achieved through cheating then that's all that matter imo.
Some of the achievements are damn hard and when you unlock them you do get a sense of accomplishment. It's a good addition to games imo.

yeh im trying to do the 1 season without loosing in manager mode. im on for it at the mo. stugglign for average 4 goals a game tho lol.

There are some achievements I can't see me ever getting 
10,000 ranked kills on Gears of War for example 
Completing COD3 on Veteran Difficulty.
Qualifying for an official tournament on PGR3.

COD veteran is bloody impossible, im yet to try it on COD3 but i should imagine its very hard

yep. alot of games im only winning like 1-0 as i have it on shortiest game length (4 mins iirc)
going for the 20 games without a card and the 50 win/60 unbeaten at the same time. hoping i can get the others in manager mode anyway. if so after about 60 games unbeaten i will have about 350 gamer points from it

ryan can you do 2 player online in career mode?

plus you can join another club when sacked, if i load the game it just says David W has been sacked as manager of THFC, then a gameover screen appears, i thought oh well at least i might be able to join another club
