Well toad just use cliffords old designs, i think clifford are ok but by no means worth the money! Alot of bullshit about them going about, especially from the people who sell them! I just fitted mine myself, as people want too much to fit them professionally!

Mine has gone in for this alarm apparently one of the best for uk no1 alarm and insurance approved - should get it back @ dinner time today (took it to a local place who have 8 years experience) been in for over 24 hours - I really hate being car less but since taking so long i'm expecting a really good job

Got car back @ dinner time and the alarm is ace the immobilser is just slighlty complicated - and actually I seem to have got confused with what mine is; mine is actually a thatcham approved avital maxx1 car alarm which is still uk no 1 and I paid £250, which is just as good as concept 650 according to the man at the place look here: http://www.avital.com/products/ap_am1.htm (i was not on a restricted budget just wanted something as good but at a reasonable price)

All very well fitting it yourself, but surely you don't get the certificate for your insurance company then.

ive got myself a concept 650 with proximity and its fantastic, never had a false alarm either, even in the strongest of winds/rain etc, in the summer i can even alarm the car with the windows open and its still protected.
