Right theres a Corsa B 1998 S plate 1.6 Sport at my work that has been written off, not sure if its cat C or D yet.

Just wondering how much people think its worth or how much they would pay as im going to get in touch with the insurance company and see if they are willing to sell it to me instead of a salvage place.

1998
S plate
1.6 Sport
-60mm suspension
Scorpion exhaust
Heated seats
Silver
70k miles

Would need:
New tailgate
New rear bumper
New back panel
New rear lights

So what price would you pay if it was a

Cat C = £££???
Cat D = £££???

Cheers, Andy.

£400 or so if it was a cat c? You could make alot back on it on parts.

Engine: £250-£300
Interior £100
Suspension £50-£70
Wheels £50
Then a £100 or more on the random parts
Shell £30 from scrappies

Im in a salvage yard once everyweek, so i would pay £500 max for a cat d or if its cat c i would be more cautious, but no more than £300. But its all down to you really, if you want it that bad then i would go for it.
