From experience, I really wouldn't recommend getting just springs. I did that on my old gsi, ok, it looked the nuts, well decked, try going round a corner tho and i was bouncing like a good'n. Just save mate, if money's that tight, even a Gmax full kit is better than just springs IMO

Personally I wouldn't.

I've never fitted just springs to any of my cars because people say it's a bit pants. At the moment mine has standards shockers with Spax springs on at the front. It's terrible.

im saving up for a kit since i decided buying springs would be a waste in the long run.

not that i know what kit is good it wont be going down far since insurance will bum me, only about 40mm mebbe.
what kit is decent enough for this?
(on standard sxi wheels)

thank a doo

I was lowered 40mm just on Spax springs and standard shockers for well over a year. Ride was fine, still nice and comfy and held the road alot better than standard.

lol Im dropped 60mm all round on nothing but uprated springs! Plus its probably more like 70-80mm on the back due to the weight of my ICE!

Still running fine, rides just a tad hard! Need to get new suspension soon!
