Disconnected battery on my GF's C to put an SRi steering wheel on it. Plugged everythn bk up now the radio is displaying SAFE. I have the code. Is there a special way to input the code

Have you tried the same as the older type of radio - hold down AS while you turn it on and then use buttons 1-4 for the four code numbers?

AS again for a second or so and it should beep in to life.

yes imput the code and it is incorrrect checked the vin number on the car pass and it doesnt match the one on the car.vauxhall have supplied the wrong one
