i would hate to be towed 25 miles on a rope, having to keep the tension for all that time, would only use a rope under last resort

if you passed your test after 1997 then you wont have a licence to tow a trailer and in the eyes of the law you dont have a licence to tow a car or be towed by a car!

Most people say they are but I've never seen any official proof.
Ropes are useless imo anyway as you can NEVER keep the rope tight no matter how good a driver you are, you get slack in a tow bar, from the play in the towing eye but nothing like a rope.
Anways with regard to the video to be fair it wasn't really the driver of the subaru's fault as he couldnt control the speed of the vehicle in front, and doesnt seem to be the first cornr of the trip.
