is this my AFM.. i think this is the problem which is causing my car to only rev to 4.8krpm
its the part where the air box connects to the pipe.
what can i use to clean it? wd40?

its actually called an Air inlet temp sensor and cleaning it with wd40 will be fine mate.

It's NOT an AFM.
Also, it won't need cleaning, it should actually affect the running noticeably if it was unplugged.
I'd say that it isn't the cause of your problem.

exactly what rob said. and if you do clean it dont use wd40 as its an oil. use some carb or brake cleaner.
