On a 1.2 8v
Had 3 in the past 4months, 1st one was just old and tired, started squealing so we got the garage to fit a new one.
2 weeks later is snapped, so we got a refund and we fitted another one ourselves (gm part) all was fine then 6weeks later, snapped again.
Any reason that it would snap again? Seems a tad odd to go through them like that....
Car is a 1994 1.2 8v corsa B

if the alt is sitting at an angle it will wear it out fast
some sat on a spindle with rubber bushes, if the bushes have gone, itll sit at a angle

Mine's obviously not a careful alternator, it has no rubbers
Mind you, the one I was supplied with is from an Astra
