Right, some of you may remeber me posting a topic about fuel relays for an escort 1600i RS Turbo

Found one, fitted it earlier today, bit like, plug in & go

Also, had replaced the fuel pump about a fortnight earlier

Started, all good, after 3 months of sitting outside a mates house, gathering dirt, e.t.c....

Took it round the block, all well and good... Then....

The car cut out, didn't start back up again, the relay was okay, the fuel pump was okay, but, my theory is thinking that it may be an electrical fault????

I know its quite a bad description, going to an electrician in the new year, after some advice

have you actually connected a battery? or did it cut out once the jump cables pulled off the other vehicle as you drove away from it?

battery is connected, it didnt cut out once the jump cables were off, id left it running for about 30 mins or so......
